Pretty Bright Family Victorian Conversion

A pretty and welcoming Victorian conversion in the peaceful, arty neighbourhood of Haringey Green Lanes. This is a family home and so there are toys and a trampoline in the garden as well. The house is newly refurbished in parts and freshly painted.

The house is situated on a peaceful, friendly road just five minutes walk from the buzzy Haringey Green Lanes with its restaurants, bars, live music venues and boutiques. It is known as a safe and friendly area with many families, artists and entrepreneurs choosing to live here.

Our home is pretty and light with a large garden. The open plan kitchen looks out to the garden. There is a large dining table and a sofa and reading area. We do not have a TV but we have an excellent broadband connection should you wish to watch iPlayer and use the internet.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a very comfortable kingsize bed and another smaller room with a bunkbed which can sleep two children. There is also a good sized bathroom with bath/shower.

On the top floors there is a small study room with desk and books which can also sleep another child on a futon mattress. The loft room at the top is spacious and light with an en suite shower room and toilet. It has a comfortable double bed, a desk and a wardrobe.

About the location

In terms of location, Haringey Green Lanes is a short distance from the ever popular new heart of North East London - Stoke Newington and Dalston. This has a wide range of galleries, restaurants, bars, clubs, and live music venues. Dalston is also on the East London Line connecting south to Haggerston, Hoxton, Shoreditch and Whitechapel.

Also a short distance away is Broadway market and London Fields. We like to spend weekends wandering around Broadway market with its great food stalls. Spitalifields market near Liverpool Street is also not too far away with its famous arts and fashion markets. Stoke Newington and Hackney are full of green spaces and the outdoor pool, London Field`s Lido, is another favourite place for us.

We`re also very well connected to both London underground and all bus networks. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from the house to Oxford Circus by underground. Manor House and Turnpike Lane underground stations are our closest tube stops - ten minutes walk from the house. Buses to and from central London leave from the end of the road.

We are a professional couple and we are often out or away travelling but when we are home we love books, cooking and music. We are happy to share our space or hand keys over to the right guests.
