CBD Local Heritage - Sample one of the world`s most liveable cities

Our house is conveniently situated in the centre of the city.
It is a well kept 3 bedroom heritage villa located in a beautiful, quiet, no-through, tree lined street.
The one level house has 2 living areas, study, and an outdoor eating area. We have a small front and rear garden. Parking is on-street. A large chefs` kitchen and ample entertaining space is available at the rear of the house (bifold doors open onto our courtyard). The whole house is insulated against heat and cold and has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning. The bathroom has a large spa bath. Our lounge - dining room can be divided to create a third bedroom (with double-bed). A pull-out sofa bed is also located in one of the living areas. The neighbours are all very friendly and helpful.

About the location

Our area is classed as local heritage and was mostly built in the 19th century.
The climate is Mediterranean and the wider city is coastal with beautiful beaches and bushland in the hills nearby.
The house is 15 minutes drive from the airport.
Within 5 minutes walk from our house is the fantastic and extensive Adelaide Parklands, 20 minutes walk to the city centre (the Museum, Art Gallery and Zoo are highly recommended) and 5 minutes walk to bus stops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets in Hutt Street. There are free buses and trams that can be used to travel around the inner city.
The city of Adelaide has a number of cultural events including the Adelaide Festival (similar to the Edinburgh Festival), Tour Down Under, Cabaret Festival in January, February, March, June. There are a large number of restaurants within easy walking distance of our home. The city is very safe and easy to travel around. We recommend visits to the beaches, surrounding wineries and vineyards as well as the beautiful coastal: Kangaroo Island or inland spectacular arid lands: Flinders Ranges.
Sydney by air is 2 hours, Perth 3 hours and Melbourne 1 hour. Adelaide is the beginning point for travel on the trans-continental railway, the Ghan to Darwin.
