Pretty Cottage near Stratford upon Avon

This is an old beamed cottage with tonnes of character. We recently extended the property to add a large, well equipt, kitchen diner which is great for sitting around the breakfast bar whilst cooking or relaxing at the dinner table, this room opens on to the garden with large bifold doors. On the ground floor there is also two separate living rooms with comfy sofas and televisions, a utility room with a washer dryer and there is a downstairs toilet. Upstairs, the a master bedroom has an ensuite and there is three other bedrooms, two double one single, with a shared family bathroom.

Outside there is a welcoming garden and vegetable patch and a patio area on one side of the house and a courtyard garden on the other which catches the morning sun, perfect for that morning coffee.

We have a very friendly cat that would require feeding.

About the location

Our Cottage is situated in a lovely rural village close to Stratford-upon-Avon. Within the village there is a great pub that serve good quality food and has a lovely big garden a shop selling all your essentials and a cafe all within a short walk.

It is a 10 minute drive into the pretty historical town of Stratford-Upon-Avon where you will find the Royal Shakespeare Company theartes, a cinema and plenty of shops. There are also many Shakespeare houses, museums and a tudor farm to explore.

We are also right on the edge of the Cotswolds so there are plenty of gorgeous Cotswold towns, villages, pubs and farmshops to explore within an easy drive.

Within a 30 drive you can access train services to London and Oxford or just 15 minutes to Stratford-upon-Avon train station with links to Birmingham, so it is a great location for city days out.
